Sioux Falls Pride invites you to compete in the annual SD Pride Ultimate Entertainer Pageant on Saturday, January 25th 2025.

All competitors for the SDPUE title must fill out this form!
$20 competitor fee is required to be paid prior to the event.
A link to pay will be emailed to you once you submit the form. There is also a link to pay on the page displayed after you submit your application. You will receive the email with payment link even if you pay immediately after submitting your form.

Competition Details:
This pageant is open to anyone regardless of your gender or sexual identity or how you identify. All contestants must be a minimum of 21 years of age by the night of crowning. This can be verified by legal ID.
Live within a 75-mile radius of the South Dakota Border Contestants will be judged in the following categories:
Talent, On-stage question, and Creative Presentation (Theme: South Dakota Proud!)
Talent (100 pts): Each contestant will perform a talent limited to a total time of 7 minutes maximum. Any type of talent presentation is acceptable, except those which may cause injury to the audience or any other person. Glitter, fire of any kind, water or liquids (including paint), or confetti (including confetti cannons) may not be used in any talent. No live animals or reptiles may be used in a talent presentation. Talent presentations that contain racial slurs or excessively vulgar, obscene, or insulting language should be avoided. The judges will consider the contents of talent presentations when scoring them. Maximum of 2 minutes for set up and 2 min for take down.
Creative Presentation (50pts): is where you as a contestant can really show your creativity! The theme this year is “South Dakota Proud!” Your presentation should reflect the theme and show us about your creativity. You will model your creative presentation for about 2 minutes. At the end of modeling, you will do your on-stage question.
On Stage Question (50 pts): This question will be selected by the contestant from a bank of questions provided by the judges, and other pageant officials. Each contestant will have a total of 2 minutes to introduce themselves and answer the question selected. The judges will be awarding points on the contestant’s ability to speak clearly, the quality of the answer to the question, and overall public speaking abilities.
In the case of a tie the winner will be selected by the winner of Talent. In the case of a tie in talent, it will default to the winner of on-stage question.
Contestant must represent the crown with dignity and professionalism at all sponsored events.
In the case that a contestant is unable to fulfill all the requirements the pageant director will meet with a committee and decide the future of the crown and can appoint the first alternate to the title, if needed.
Limited to 10 contestants. Applications close Wednesday January 1st, 2025.
